Someone using username "LadyROOT" on this forum sent me a private message with a fake link telling i got a virus.
I dont know who would fall for that tough...
Altough i dont acess this forum much, i thought i should let you know...

Since this member hasn't made any posts yet, the mods can't ban them. I've tried contacting the admin about it, but he doesn't seem to have been around recently.

It's most likely an automated bot.
Can't remember if there is an option - but perhaps not allowing PM's to users unless they have 5 posts?

Thanks Xerces, this is exactly what I put in place this morning (anyone with the "Newbies" status is now unable to send pms, this will take care of this problem).
Also, I've banned (name and ip ban) the people mentioned in this thread that have been spreading pm spam (and guys be very careful, some of the pages had virus attacks).
Consider me tier 2 forum support. Try to get in touch with one of our moderators first to help you with whatever issues you may be having, and if they cannot resolve your issue / do not get back to you within a few business days, feel free to contact me and I will reply when I am able.
Please read our rules to maintain / establish your familiarity with general Hentai Geek member conduct.
