It seems the site is having issues with Special Characters like the one in my name. The character ü appears to be replaced by a question mark proxy.

Not a problem, just leave the character in your username so the guys who can fix this can clearly see the issue.. we'll get to it shortly

Has there been any geographical change of location for this new server that will effect the rules of what can be posted here at HG?

It looks as if the site does not agree with directional quotations and commas. Some people's posts in HHS are filled with the question-mark-in-diamond symbols, but they only show up in the finished post, they appear normal upon editing or writing. Not everyone's keyboard has directional gramatical marks, so it's not everyone's problem.

Also, I'm seeing the same symbol on every board's description on the site. Looks like it replaces a break? Not sure.

can someone from HHS confirm for me though if the character issues they saw splayed throughout HHS are now fixed?

I'm not sure if this is related to the server move, but I am unable to access my own gallery to upload and link images.

When I click on 'My Albums' only my gallery user information comes up (statistics, public user albums and controls), and when I click 'edit my albums' under controls I get:

"No access permissions

Sorry, the board administrator has not enabled your permissions for this part of the control panel."

Well, I haven't noticed any black question marked diamonds, but I did notice some weird text in a recent Kalajel post here.

The weird cluster of characters look like this "a?|". If y'all can't see what I see on my side I've included a pic of the cluster fuck.



Hope this doesn't shut down the board further. That two week hiatus was brutal, spent the time moonlighting down there yonder at FAKKU.com.
Folks there were nice and hospitable-like, but it didn't quite feel like home. Keep up the good work, things will work out.

I haven't noticed any oddities but I'll keep watch. also I just was able to sign in today. (boy did you guys take your time! how was the holiday wankers? I missed you guys! almost thought Id have to up and go find another forum 0_0'

Update I did notice that its difficult for me to change my profile picture. The picture will show up but then when I reload the page the same picture from before replaces the one I just put in. it does say that larger pics will get re-sized to fit right? so what gives? how long does it take for the change to take effect?

I was having the same problem. A friend of mind told me to press F5. It reloaded the page and when the page reloaded my new profile picture was there. I dunno what F5 does to make it the magic button, but it worked for me. Just some helpful information in case you are still having an issue.
