is it me.... or has mainstream RB/HipHop/even Rap has gone a bit electronic... examples such as "Please dont stop the music" Rihanna and "Fallen Angel" Chris Brown ... they arent bad songs but well... i usually listen to melodic rock and one day i turn on the mainstream music radio station and it was like wow >.> lots of computer generated stuff nowadays

Rap and Hip-Hop will always have computer generated melodies and background music. It's been that way since the 90's, yet another reason I don't like the mainstream stuff or rap/hip-hop, its taking less and less skill to make...

I believe that the catchy tune will give it a short term popularity... but its the lyrics that will give it a long term standing ovation ^^... i like the mainstream stuff... but not as much as other independent music groups
