Was wondering if anyone had heard the new songs or was working on one of the videos for the film festival thing that they are having on youtube.

Ghosts is definitely better than his last two albums. It's got some really brilliant moments. Overall, though, I feel that it is overly long / lacking in ideas. It's definitely worth a listen, I just don't know why he made it a four-disc album.

I don't get the idea why it was made so long and with no words, but it is still great to listen to when your just thinking about life or things about life.

It's certainly good chill music. If you're drawing or lost in thought, great music.

i thought it was very good. i always liked his instrumentals but i wasnt sure if he could put together a whole album. i dont think anything equals a warm place, but then his past instrumentals had something in context with the album.

Huge NIN fan, so it's hard for me to criticize anything they do. I actually thought it to be very good. Very layered. Seems like a perfect idea, give Trent's use of instrumentals in the past.
Anyone listen to their newest free release, The Slip?

slip was pretty good. i didnt like how there was that long instrumental, i just kept thinking you just released ghosts...... and its one of my least favorite instrumentals too. seems drawn out. probably used all the good ones for ghosts.

I actually didn't care for The Slip's instrumentals either. Oh well, looking forward to seeing them this September when they roll into town!
