Sheesus pleasus, man! You should listen to some metal, dawg.
Anyways, try out the following rock bands (I'll throw some well-known one's in just in case); Clutch, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Velvet Revolver, Breaking Benjamin, Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal (the name throws ya off, it's really just rock). That should get ya started.
I recommend you try out some metal, it's good for the soul. Ya know, just in case you find yourself loving it. Check out Children of Bodom and Devildriver. Also, Nightwish and Leaves' Eyes are good for female vocals.

Wow... you went from sucktastic to amazingly awesome down to crap again. But yes, Queen is amazing. Don't just listen to the mainstream singles, though, or you'll miss out on most of their best songs.

Oasis
Porcupine Tree
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Asian Kung-Fu Generation
The Seatbelts
Phantom Planet (Old)
Lenny Kravitz
Kagrra
Pierrot
Luna Sea
Smashing Pumpkins

LinkNo1: You need to get your music correct and straight before you should say anything silly like that rolleyes.gif Secondly, no matter how much you think Oasis is overrated (though I have yet to even meet a real fan, being that people only know Champagne Super Nova and Wonderwall) they're still far better than that Paramore, Panic, Fallout Boy crap you're suggesting.

Btw: Bullet, Trivium and NuTallica aren't metal. Silly rabbit.

I dunno, my roommate and I can still get over exaggeratingly down to Bohemian Rhapsody. Plus the chick from Paramore is a total bitch. At least she was last time I met her(I go to lots of music festivals). Aaaand, Nirvana was great not because of a suicide--which was set up, by the way(but that's a whole other song and dance)--but because of what the songs actually meant. The songs themselves weren't really meant to be technical at all. Controversy, however, does push popularity. I admit that.

Anywho...

I always recommend old-skool hip hop if you like rap. Try west cost stuff if you want that chill feeling. Stuff like:
NWA(and the solo careers of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube)
Compton's Most Wanted
Cypress Hill
and stuff like that.

With Rock I can get down to pretty much anything. So, if you're well-rounded like me you should try:
AFI(their older stuff)
The Misfits
Senses Fail
Streetlight Manifesto
Coheed and Cambria
I could go on.

I can't say that much modern music(and I mean this year) is worth looking at. But folk seems to be doing pretty well.
Raijin
New hip hop

Mack 10 Feat. Glasses Malone & Red Cafe - Big Baller
Big Kuntry King - Player's Lifestyle (Feat. T.I. And Slim Thug) (Prod. By Khao)
T.I - No matter what
Young Buck ft. Hussein Fatal - Get down

And old, but an true pimp song

Pimp C - Knocking doors down

Need more?
ask
Dududu
Lamb of God - Just friggen brutal...
Trivium - New stuff is awesome
The Misfits - Can't go wrong with a band thats been around for 30 years and still going strong!
Dimmu Borgir - Amazing symphonic/extreme metal
Buckethead - If you're into any guitar at all...You know who he is...
Children of Bodom - Again, a great metal band

That's a good list right there for any music lover who wants to broaden their music selection.
