The other night I was listening to the album on my computer and it started a friendly debate between me and my friend. He has heard the Nightwish version of it and thinks it's was better, I then poked a few holes in why the orginal was better. Anyway we then started to think if they redid the musical who would do the best bits. I said Apocalptica for instrumental, Ville Valo from Him doing the voice of the Phantom and ex member of Nightwish Tarja Turunen as Christine. I haven't thought of any others for the other parts.

I don't know about the nightwish version, but I sure love the version of Blink182

IF it REALLY has to be redone, I would pick Dimmu Borgir to do it

The nightwish has the best Phantom!!! His voice is too cool but tarja sings lika an ass. They should stick with the nightwish version but change the singer for Christine.
I loved it when he starts laughing and screaming near the end of the song

night wish is an okay song. music of the night however is so mch better! you should really listen to david cook's version of the song. its so awsome. he is the american idol winner by the way.
