You missed DJ Tiesto, my favorite as far as techno and trance go.

I'm a fan of the Happy Hardcore and Gabba genres, which are sub-genres of techno.

I haven't gone past the realm of DJ Sharpnel though, it seems.

Im aware i dont have him on my sample list so far, i have sum songs of him and ill upload it later when i finish studying =(

I cant mention any names or songs but when I lived in Miami a while back I was really into it specially at night when all you really need to do is take a walk during the night and lisen.

you should try listening to bj babyboi or dj onyx. they are both pretty awsome.

I'm not really a big techno/trance fan, but I recently became obsessed with Armin van Bruuen's In and Out of Love feat. Sharon den Adel. I only heard of it through the dutch metal band Within Temptation, but I'm in love with song now.

I recommend Daft Punk and Royksopp. Royksopp is especially good. I found out about them after hearing "Remind Me" in that old Geico commercial.

I love Trance I have over 5000+ trance songs. Thats just how much I love it. Techno is ok. But I prefer the uplifting beats trance has to offer.

Basshunter and Infected Mushroom are both pretty good. If anyone is looking for a good trance/eloctronica album, I suggest UFO by The Orb. The two disc edition has the full length version of Blue Room. To date, I believe it's the longest single ever released. It's about 45 min. long. I also just picked up a new CD by Doest it Offend you, Yeah?. It's got some cool stuff.

Infected Mushroom, I tend to like. The Prodigy, who I discovered far too late was way beyond 'Breathe' and 'Fire Starter'. Can't forget Aphex Twin and Daft Punk, of course.
Buckethead and Death Cube K. I heard he's the guy from Limp Bizkit, but even if he is, I forgive him.

There's a pair of artists I always hear on Pandora Internet Radio on my Daft Punk station called Fripps and somebody, I like them.

I used to just search various means of hearing music online for trance and techno and electronica and had hours upon hours of music saved, but my computer crashed and I haven't rebuilt the collection yet. It should be good now that I've seen all these artists.

Armin Van Buuren has this thing called, "A State Of Trance" and if these few I have are correct, there's like more than 200 of them. I've 5 of the tracks, and the shortest is 1hr 53min, and the longest is 2hr 31min. xD

If you want some good trance songs try some of Ferry Corsten's songs or Trance Nation's albums or Ibiza Trance club or Godskitchen.

Dj Tiesto is great and all, but most of his recent cd's are a collection of other artists, not his own work anymore
