Since everyone and their mom is listening to them, let's talk about them. They have gotten alot of attention lately and making the prog-metal, or the metal genre itself, a little bit more popular.

Great Prog-metal band. Great concept albums. Great Performance.

I can't name anything I don't like about them.

If you don't own a cd yet, go pick up Black Water Park.

Ghost reveries changed their sound to a bit softer,but it's still great.

Love Opeth.

Prog Rock and Metal. My two faves. When I heard Dream Theater for the first time I was like,



"I CAN HAVE BOTH?!?!?!"
Then I listened to a bunch of Opeth, and got Black Water Park.

I absolutely love their first four albums, Blackwater Park, Deliverance and Damnation were enjoyable but I personally didn't like anything about Ghost Reveries

They are a Progressive death metal band, they are very very good check them out...

Orlly I like death metal when I get my audio card I will for sure.

And yeah, I have high standards when it comes to music, but I can't find any track I don't enjoy or like. I would probably kill to see them live.

It's jesus!

Their new album, Watershed is great. I love the acoustic songs Burden and Coil. They are so beautiful. Mikael always does a great job with the acoustics Lotus Eater, Porcelain Heart and Heir Apparent are really good too. The only song I really felt fell short was Hessian Peel. It's a very refreshing album. They added some new elements other than just the standard drudging atmospheres, acoustic breaks and progressive rock style.
